Poor. I've had need to interact with this agency twice about my adopted son's medicaid benefit. Both times were a monumental waste of time for what turned out to be relatively easy fixes. Unresponsive, won't return phone calls, run-around/pass-around games, not a single call back in two months of trying which means I'll have to waste another half-day of work to go over there in person.

This is the worst place ever. If you call you will never talk to a live person only a recording that send you to voicemail. Noone ever call back when you leave a voice message. My daughter is two and can not get her shots if she doesnt get medicaid benefits and its been 3 months and all i have been getting is letters about my case manager changed and no calls back this place need to be shut down because they dont do anything to help people when they can its just sad

Unbelievable!!! I have worked for Social Services so I realize how tough it is to carry large caseloads but that EVERY line I call is directed to voice mail is ridiculous! Perhaps if there was an information desk that could at least direct your call to the appropriate voice mailbox. I called general number and was transferred around, reaching a voice mailbox each time. I just needed to know who the case worker was and how to contact them. I didn't care if I reached them by phone, voice mail, email or whatever. Just basic directory information. geesh!!!!

With an appointment, which was assigned by the agency, I sat for almost 3 hours and had to leave and go to work. I returned the next day, was told that they will copy the documentation which they previously requested , I got a receipt and was told I could leave. When I asked why this wasn't done the day before when I waited for 3 hours, I was told that it's because yesterday I had an appointment and today I didn't, so they'll accept copies of what I brought. Now, 2 months later, I received a suspension letter, because I missed the appointment 2 months ago. The place is nuts!

Social Services needs to get a handle on customer services skills. Poor staff, poor interaction with customers, very disrespectful and long wait time. No one seems to help. Calling the offices and or case manger, go directly to voicemail without a return call back. Horrible place to conduct business.
